Description

Test Pilot Captain Anthony "Buck" Rogers, whom severed the United States Air Force (Formerly the USAAF) in both the Second World War, and the Korean War, is assigned to Command Space Module Ranger 3, which is the prototype Module to be tested with the Saturn Heavy Lift Rocket before man was sent to the moon.

After sending Gordo to space in the late 1950s, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) felt confident enough to send their own men into space.  However, before they could even plan a trip to the moon, NASA worked on a couple of prototypes that were capable of sending a Command Space Module out of the earths atmosphere.  Although Chuck Yeager was the first choice, Yeager was unable to due to other priorities.  Thus Anthony Rogers was referred to instead.

This is a mix between two sources I experimented with.  the ifrst one is from Philip Francis Nowlan's novel "Amrageddon, 2419 A.D.", and the other is from the short lived "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" TV series from 1979-1981.  Since both sources hold some important factors, I though I could try mix the two.

Note:  In the novel, Nowlan never mentioned what Rogers looked like, since it was written in first person.  It is under the assumption he has a natural common color hair versus what I tossed on him.  This is just my spin.  I'll have two more pictures up when I get the chance.

Buck Rogers is property of Philip Francis Nowlan, and that of Paramount Pictures.
